We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Coastal Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of coastal engineering projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including coastal protection, harbor development, and environmental restoration.

Key Accountabilities:

• Project and study management, including communicating with clients and accurately defining client requirements.
• Overseeing technical teams in the delivery of coastal and port studies or design documentation.
• Ensuring accurate implementation and adherence to specifications of design solutions delivered to clients, including supervision and sign-off of completed work.
• Active mentorship and development of graduates in technical fields of coastal and port competencies.
• Working within virtual teams in other geographies for seamless delivery to clients in any location.
• Coordinating with multiple disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.
• Supporting business development initiatives.
• Ensuring the delivery of quality work according to [Your Company Name] standards and procedures.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience including coastal, ports, or marine engineering projects.
• B.Eng./M.Eng. degree in Coastal Engineering, Ocean Systems Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
• Registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.
• Substantial coastal engineering experience, including:
  • Design of dredging and sand management projects.
  • Design of breakwater and seawall structures.
  • Studies into coastal processes, coastal hazard and adaptation, and metocean design conditions.
• Experience working on large or complex projects in a multidisciplinary environment is preferable.
