Our expertise in infrastructure includes aviation, highways and bridges, planning and advisory services, ports, rail and transit, tunnels, and water. Want to be part of the creation and construction of our cities? Then the infrastructure team is for you! We are looking to building on our success in the realm of coastal engineering and are seeking a highly motivated Senior Coastal Engineer to join the Ports and Terminals team in our Perth or Brisbane office. Our coastal pipeline currently has a diverse mix of coastal structure design, metocean design conditions and inputs for ports projects, dredging, adaptation planning and coastal management support. We are looking for a coastal enthusiast to help us deliver and expand on our current and upcoming opportunities.
As the successful candidate, you will be passionate about coastal processes and engineering, an exceptional communicator, and a collaborative thinker who approaches challenges with creativity and innovation. Driven and achievement‑oriented, you take pride in creating positive change through your work. You will hold relevant qualifications, ideally a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science and demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing professional development in coastal engineering and science. With a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the planning and design of coastal infrastructure, you bring proven project management capability, excellent communication skills, experience leading project teams and managing resources, and a genuine passion for delivering impactful coastal projects.
Desirable attributes:
Chartered professional status, a Master’s in Ports and/or Coastal Engineering, and experience in dredging, coastal adaptation planning and design, or on‑site coastal construction are highly regarded. A track record in delivering complex coastal projects, along with business development, networking skills, and further team leadership experience, will be considered advantageous.
