Some of your key responsibilities will include (but are not exhaustive):

• Deliver mechanical engineering designs and technical solutions in line with project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the successful delivery of projects.
• Prepare and review mechanical engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure an integrated design approach.
• Support project planning activities, including scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Review technical deliverables to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required.Assist with client engagement and contribute to project meetings and technical discussions.
• Identify and manage technical risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
• Support the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc/B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Registration as a professional engineer
• Substantial Mechancial engineering experience with solid project engineering experience or equivalent relevant experience
• Ability to manage and motivate individuals to attain quality, cost and schedule objectives
• Strong deliverable focus and ability to plan the work
• A high degree of understanding of inter-discipline dependencies related to the discipline
• Experience working on large or complex projects in a multidisciplinary environment is preferable.
