We are seeking an experienced Site Services (Facilities) Manager to lead and coordinate all personnel support and site services functions on a major project. This role is critical in enabling safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations by ensuring the seamless delivery of accommodation, travel, camp operations, and essential services for a large workforce. The position will initially be office-based during the project’s early phase, supporting planning, procurement and mobilisation activities, and will transition into a FIFO-based role as site operations ramp up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, procurement and delivery of site services packages, including outcome-based scopes of work, tender evaluations, and contractor selection
- Manage mobilisation and demobilisation processes, ensuring compliance across medicals, inductions, travel, accommodation and onboarding/offboarding requirements
- Oversee camp operations through the camp operator, ensuring capacity, room allocation, catering, cleaning and amenities meet required standards
- Coordinate travel and transport services, including flights, charters and bussing, ensuring alignment to rosters, fatigue management and operational needs
- Manage service contracts (catering, cleaning, camp management, transport, waste), including SLAs, KPIs, performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee utilities and site services interfaces including water, waste management, communications and general facilities infrastructure
- Lead a small team and coordinate contractors to ensure effective delivery of site services and alignment across project stakeholders
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting and cost control across camp, travel and service delivery, driving efficiency and data-driven decision making
About You
You are an experienced site services or camp management professional with a strong background in large-scale FIFO resource or construction projects. You bring proven leadership capability managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors, coupled with strong commercial acumen across budgeting, forecasting and contract governance. You have a solid understanding of HSE requirements in remote environments, including accommodation and food safety standards, and are comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced project settings with large workforce movements. Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, hospitality, logistics or facilities management will be highly regarded, along with certifications in areas such as food safety, fatigue management or remote first aid. Exposure to Indigenous engagement programs and remote infrastructure environments will also be advantageous.
