As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. In this role, you will:
•    Partner with assigned internal client groups to provide HR coaching and guidance to business and technical managers
•    Work closely with our management team to report on HR performance indicators such as career development, leave and time management, recruitment, etc.
•    Lead high complexity ER matters including conducting employee interviews, investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, and taking corrective actions
•    Maintain a forward-looking approach by tracking workforce trends, regulatory changes, and industry innovations to inform strategic HR practices
•    Participate in project teams with a national and/or global impact in either a leadership or member role
•    Act as a connector across HR functions. Provide guidance and mentorship for other HR staff members and backup support to HR Director.
•    Collaborate closely with the benefits team to provide advice and guidance with regards to health/dental benefits, retirement, and leaves (parental, STD/LTD, etc.) 
•    Collaborate with our Compensation team to support the annual salary review processes, to determin appropriate pay rates and increases, and analyze eligibility for additional compensation program
•    Support and facilitate employee onboarding, orientation, professional development, offboarding, and day to day employee guidance
•    Partner with the mobility team on domestic and international assignments, transfers, and relocations
•    Process and audit employee information and changes in our HRIS system, with the support of our HR Coordinators
•    Maintain awareness of ongoing changes to immigration policy in order to coordinate with the global immigration team, business leaders, and employees on issues pertaining to work eligibility in the U.S.

You bring to the role:
•    Minimum 5+ years of work experience in HR as a strategic advisor; preferably 7 or more years
•    Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships and influence others within and outside of HR to achieve appropriate business results
•    High energy and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and a matrixed organization
•    Solid knowledge of federal and multi-state labor regulations and HR practices
•    Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with leading organizational change
•    Ability to create and implement HR initiatives and projects
•    Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization effectively, sensitively, tactfully, and professionally at all times
•    Experience in compensation, compliance, and immigration related work is an asset
•    Proactive and reactive problem solving skills
•    Excellent time and project management skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work
•    SPHR/PHR certification a plus.
•    High level of proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS systems
•    Experience with Dayforce, SAP, and/or SuccessFactors is an asset
•    Travel approximately 10% to other Hatch offices
