Logistics Manager – Hatch–Ma’aden Partnership (Saudi Arabia)
Role Summary
The Logistics Manager leads logistics strategy and execution for major projects in Saudi Arabia under the Hatch–Ma’aden partnership. The role ensures efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials and equipment across international and local supply chains, supporting large-scale mining and industrial developments while meeting Saudi regulatory and localization requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project logistics strategy aligned with EPCM delivery in KSA
- Define Incoterms, transport solutions, and logistics execution plans (FEL2–FEL4)
- Ensure alignment with procurement, Saudization objectives, and local content requirements
- Manage logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and 3PL contracts
- Oversee import/export processes, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia
- Lead logistics planning for heavy-lift, oversized, and critical project cargo
- Manage logistics risks, contingency planning, and critical-path deliveries
- Support cost control, forecasting, and project reporting
- Coordinate closely with site teams, construction, and materials management
- Monitor local market capabilities and develop in-Kingdom logistics solutions
Qualifications
- Degree in logistics, supply chain, or related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Saudi customs regulations, import/export, and logistics compliance
- Expertise in multimodal transport and large project logistics
- Understanding of EPCM project environments and governance
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience
- 10+ years of logistics experience in major projects, preferably in mining or industrial sectors
- Proven experience in EPCM projects and FEL phases (FEL2–FEL4)
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region strongly preferred
- Background in logistics contracting, heavy transport, and materials management
- Experience managing international supply chains and in-country logistics execution
