About the Role
The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, coordinating, and supporting training and capability development initiatives in Saudi Arabia. The position has a particular focus on structured graduate development programs, knowledge transfer from experienced professionals to emerging talent, and the identification of fit-for-purpose learning solutions through local training centers, universities, technical institutes, and specialist providers. The role supports workforce capability requirements across consulting, mining, engineering, and project delivery environments.
Key Accountabilities
Training Delivery, Partnerships & Local Market Knowledge
- Source, assess, and manage relationships with reputable training centers, universities, institutes, and technical training providers in Saudi Arabia
- Maintain knowledge of local training providers, government-supported development initiatives, and learning solutions relevant to engineering, mining, project management, consulting, and professional skills
- Coordinate training logistics, facilitators, venues, systems, participant communications, and training calendars
- Partner with HR, business leaders, technical teams, and external providers to define training needs and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions
- Support implementation of onboarding, career development, technical capability, localization, and knowledge transfer programs
- Apply strong coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management practices to ensure training programs are delivered effectively and professionally
Graduate Program Development & Knowledge Transfer
- Design, develop, and coordinate structured graduate development programs for Saudi national and early-career talent
- Create learning pathways that build technical, consulting, project delivery, business, and professional skills over defined program periods
- Support knowledge transfer initiatives between senior technical specialists, project teams, mentors, and graduate participants
- Develop practical learning materials, toolkits, schedules, and evaluation frameworks to support program delivery
- Monitor participant progress, maintain training records, and prepare reports on attendance, completion, feedback, and development outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve program structure, learning quality, and alignment with business needs
Qualifications and Experience
- 5–10 years’ experience in learning and development, training, graduate development, talent development, consulting, or a related HR capability role
- Prior experience working in a consulting environment, ideally supporting technical, engineering, mining, or project-based teams
- Demonstrated experience designing or supporting graduate, early-career, trainee, internship, or structured development programs
- Strong understanding of knowledge transfer methods, mentoring frameworks, skills assessment, learning pathways, and training evaluation
- Good knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s local training landscape, including training centers, universities, technical institutes, and specialist providers
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, technical specialists, graduates, external providers, and regional/global HR teams
- Strong planning, facilitation, coordination, reporting, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail
- Experience with LMS platforms, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and learning reporting tools; SAP SuccessFactors experience would be advantageous
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Engineering, or a related field
Key Skills and Capabilities
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning needs analysis, instructional design, and training evaluation
Office Location and Working hours:
Riyadh, Servecrop, Business Gate
Sunday to Thursday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM.
