Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Water Resources Engineer to join our Hydropower and Dams group.

As the successful candidate, you will:
- Manage projects concentrated in the water resources, flood control and hydropower sectors with opportunities to participate in the infrastructure and mining/industrial sectors.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
- Develop business, writing proposals, and presenting to clients.
- Undertake technical reviews of documents and technical drawings prepared by the team
- Complete Hydraulic and hydrologic modelling and analysis (using HEC and MIKE tools) as well as using GIS tools for analysis and presentation of concepts
You bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 5+ years of relevant professional experience; or
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 3+ years of relevant professional experience; or
- PhD in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Registered, or eligible to be registered, and licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer
- Demonstrated expertise in the Water Resources, Flood Control, Flood Protection and/or Hydropower sectors
- Team focused with excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of multidisciplinary projects.
- Effective time management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel within USA and Internationally on short term assignments as required.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
