Looking to take the next step in your career and want to work on major railway projects? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Graduate Engineer to join our Transit team in Sydney.

 

As the successful candidate, you will work on a range of exciting projects across the infrastructure sector and undertake a variety of tasks, including:

  • Preparing engineering calculations, project standard specifications, design reports and other technical deliverables
  • Preparing scopes of work, technical specifications and data sheets for transportation and logistics related projects and collaborating with other disciplines 
  • Working with designers to provide engineering input to 3D model and drawing development 

 

You bring to the role:

You have or are working towards a bachelor’s/master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering , ideally in your third year (or later) of study with a strong academic record. You will bring leadership and teamwork skills, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to think laterally and innovatively. We need you to possess unrestricted living and work rights for Australia (i.e. permanent residency or citizenship).

 

Flexibility to travel and work in locations within Australia and internationally is a bonus, but not essential. Finally, we are looking for candidates that have a passion and drive to make a real difference.
