Vacation Student opportunity: Build the extraordinary, every day

 

The Hatch Vacation Student Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. We will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.

 

As part of the Water team, you will gain exposure to engineering activities on a range of exciting projects across the infrastructure sector that promote environmental sustainability in infrastructure. Supporting project managers, project engineers and designers, you will have the chance to be involved in the preparation of design drawings and other technical information related to wastewater and water treatment plants, sewer, watermains and roads.

You bring to the role:

 

You will have (or be working towards) a bachelor’s/master’s degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, ideally in your third year (or later) of study,  with a strong academic record. Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems. You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and are committed to creating positive change.

 

The 12-week program commences on Monday, 18 Nov 2024. Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 20 December 2024 and will reopen Monday, 6 January 2025.
