As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
 

 

Hatch is currently seeking an Admin Assistant to join our Facilities team in our Vancouver office. If you have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and understand innovation, we want to hear from you!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices and issuing purchase orders daily
  • Managing and updating the Capital Expense log as needed
  • Engaging in discussions with contractors or vendors regarding invoices, quotes, and purchase orders
  • Supporting the operations team in Mississauga and the Global Facilities team as requested
  • Providing continuous improvement to our SharePoint website
  • Scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics as needed
  • Attending meetings and recording meeting minutes as needed
  • Assisting the Global Facilities team to continue improving on processes and procedures
  • Willing to learn and improve on skills needed to support the Global Facilities team
  • Maintaining a database of leased and owned properties
  • Monitoring and tracking global headcount monthly
  • Preparing reports as required

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar administrative role
  • College Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration or related field
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Able to work independently and accurately
  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment

     

Base salary range: $46,000 - $75,000

 

At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.

 

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
