We are seeking a Package Coordinator to join our Civil team. This role is responsible for managing the delivery of contract packages across the full project lifecycle, acting as the central point of coordination between project teams, vendors, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. As a Package Coordinator, you will work closely with Project Managers, Area Managers and multidisciplinary project teams to coordinate the planning, procurement, delivery, commissioning and handover of Civil/Structural and contract packages. You will play a key role in ensuring technical, commercial, schedule and operational requirements are achieved while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all activities associated with assigned equipment and contract packages.
- Support Project Managers and Area Managers in delivering package scope, schedule and cost objectives.
- Drive package execution from requirements definition through procurement, delivery, commissioning and handover.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers and internal disciplines to ensure timely delivery of technical and commercial outcomes.
- Manage package schedules, forecasts, risks and project changes affecting package delivery.
- Coordinate vendor data requirements and ensure documentation is received in line with project schedules.
- Ensure equipment and systems meet operational, technical, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
About You
You will hold a relevant engineering qualification and bring experience working within EPCM or major project environments. You have exposure across multiple stages of the project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction and commissioning, and understand the coordination required to successfully deliver complex equipment or contract packages. You are highly organised, commercially aware and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on delivery. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams. Experience within mining, energy or heavy industrial projects will be highly regarded.
